One of my favorite things to do when travelling is exploring something authentic for the place I’m visiting. And when speaking of Italian fashion you can never ignore Versace. Being invited to their gorgerous mansion again this season for an intimate viewing of the collection was such a pleasure. Especially since the collection was so on point, it was playing with beautiful color combinations, sportswear deluxe with loads of embroidery, something that a detail nerd as myself is such a sucker for.
This collection won’t be available to get your hands on before the beginning of next year, but I’ve already found some really cool Versace pieces in stores. See the links after the picture below.

Whats better than a simple outfit that simply looks cool. Thats what I went for with this look, and apparently it worked. We all know I love to overdress by sometimes I should learn to let the details speek. In this look I’m mixing an olive green with ivory, both with a red detail, that matched Marias outfit perfectly. Coincidence? Think not ;)
Don’t be affraid to mix it up, even a simple mix doesn’t have to be monochrome.

It was such a thrill to enter the Versace Palace in central Milan. Walking through the beautiful hallways and getting a peak of the Versace garden. We were invited inside the palace to re-see the Versace AW16 collection just 12 hours after the show in Milan. The collection was everything I could have imagined, also when getting a closer look, and especially the accessories were dreams come true.
I mean who aren’t craving a printed bag and those intergalactic boots?

Dolce & Gabbana – Vintage Versace
Summer and sunglasses goes hand in hand, the ones above are my favorite this year.
Especially the two flower decorated ones, the black&white where also my clear favorite last year. The heavy graphic shape and the 60’s vibe, a match made in heaven.
The golden Dolce & Gabbana’s are beautifully detailed and old school romantic, reminds me of an old painting but in an elegant cat-eye shape.
Which is your favorite?

Green has never been a dominating colour in my wardrobe, but this jacket really made me reconsider.
How do you feel about green?
