Shop Versace here
One of my favorite things to do when travelling is exploring something authentic for the place I’m visiting. And when speaking of Italian fashion you can never ignore Versace. Being invited to their gorgerous mansion again this season for an intimate viewing of the collection was such a pleasure. Especially since the collection was so on point, it was playing with beautiful color combinations, sportswear deluxe with loads of embroidery, something that a detail nerd as myself is such a sucker for.
This collection won’t be available to get your hands on before the beginning of next year, but I’ve already found some really cool Versace pieces in stores. See the links after the picture below.

Everything // GUCCI
The moment I walked through the reception of the new Gucci HQ, aka. Gucci city, as it’s the size of a small town, I was overwhelmed and excited.
The SS17 collection was presented in a gigant red velvet room, where every showlook hang side by side ready to admired. And everything was admirable, from the massive frilled dresses, to the most delicate embroidery, to kimonos in the heaviest silk with raw edges. The collection was strongly asian inspired, and the combined slipper/plateau sandals is just the cutest combi I’ve seen. But the collection also had tons of humour with references to Hollywood, Love and Elton John.
And the accesories was as extraordinary as imagined, with the new it-bag with a dragon head and the biggest and coolest sunglasses I’ve ever seen. I need those in my collection!

Everything else // VERSACE AW16
It was such a thrill to enter the Versace Palace in central Milan. Walking through the beautiful hallways and getting a peak of the Versace garden. We were invited inside the palace to re-see the Versace AW16 collection just 12 hours after the show in Milan. The collection was everything I could have imagined, also when getting a closer look, and especially the accessories were dreams come true.
I mean who aren’t craving a printed bag and those intergalactic boots?
