It’s not that long ago that I took part in the biggest fashion award show in Denmark, Elle Style Awards. Event though it wasn’t my first time, but actually the fourth, I was as always excited and nervous, in a good way! Would my outfit work, will my makeup last, who will sit next to me at the dinner?
It all turned out great, L’oreal Paris had invited me to join their beauty lounge so that my hair and make-up would be perfect. I chose to go for a very simple look with focus on a porcelain skin and a really strong brow-game paired with a modern . After L’oreal spiced us up, they brought Maria, Amalie and I to the event in an Audi, and they sat me right next to Maria at the dinner, thanks guys! If you wish to hear a bit more about my look and why Maria is my best date, read the (danish) interview here.

What’s better than a bold colored dress with a matching pair of thigh high boots, nothing I can tell you. I found this dress when I was looking for searching around for inspiration in how to dress very chic, classy yet with a strong influence of the hottest trends of the season. I fell for the color and the simple cut instantly and as soon as I tried it on I just knew it was the one, especially paired of with the amazing, and slightly to small. Since they are some of the most craved high-street buys of the season I was just lucky to get my hands on a pair in size 36.. Well even crashed toes I’m so excited for tonights show and to celebrate all the amazing winners. Stay tuned on my insta story!
And just so you know, I’ve had 4 different dresses up for consideration for tonights event, so if you are curious to see how they looked stay tuned here on the blog for some more galla inspiration!

When attending the fashion gala of the year here in Copenhagen I just had to wear all the colors I could. I decided to go for a 70’s disco look with the knitted maxi dress and the very cool retro-vibe boots. I paired it with a simple clutch and a makeup that screamed 70’s. With the strong orange lip and the thick black lashes created with the new mascara Miss Hippie from Loreal Paris.
I was invited to the beauty lounge before the show together with a bunch of beautiful and cool girls, it was so much fun to get ready all together!
Afterwards we headed for the dinner in a beautiful flower printed car, and at last we attended the cool show and afterparty.
I had the best night in a long time, can’t wait for next year already!
Do you wanna se how I got ready for the big night? Watch the video below:

Why have I waited way to long to show you this outfit? I’m so sorry, I’ve been under a lot of pressure with school lately and suddenly the amazing night and not least the amazing picture completely flew off my mind. Looking at these pictures now I’m so happy for my choice of dress for the night.
It’s not an ordinary gala dress, it has edge and all the amazing details that just makes me want to stare at it.
What do you think of my Elle Style Awards 2015 outfit?
What happened to my perfect beauty look that went with the outfit?

My beauty look for this years Elle Style Awards was very sleek and simple.
In this video I tell, in danish, what I wanted for my look.
But for all you guys who doesn’t understand the particular danish tongue, I can tell you shortly.
I wanted the dress to stand out, so for my hair I went for a sleek, almost dead straight and asymmetric look.
I wanted my skin to glow, so we held the foundation to a minimum. Hightligthed and countured my cheekbones.
For the eyes I wanted a thick graphic line, made extra long for a surprising and less elegant look.
The lips got a bit of glittery gloss, but during the night I just freshened up with clear lip balm.
What do you think of my look?
I will show you my outfit soon!
