I love summertime in Copenhagen, it’s always filled with parties in the street while enjoying the sun. Last week the festival Distortion took place, and I was enjoying four days of street parties. Wild as it sounds I choose to do it a with a little more style and a little less warm beers.
As much as I enjoy the true festival vibe, I like to drink something I truly enjoy. Thats why I invited friends over before the Final Party of distortion to enjoy a little Veuve Clicquot Rich. We drank it straight from the freezer with lots of ice in the sunset while watching the parties start around us.
I can only recommend starting your festival, summer party or other sun-including gatherings with a bubbly drink, and the Rich version is also really good to mix with other flavours like orange, cucumber and rasberries, just make sure to serve it over ice! Yummy!

I love doing creative collaborations with brands, and this one I did together with Maria was such a good time. We shot every night during distortion, playing creatively with make-up from NYX and matching our outfits to the crazy festival looks we made.
See my two looks here and here, and don’t miss the two amazing looks Maria did as well here and here.
How do you feel about this creative way of working with makeup? I personally feel inspired to work a little bit “outside the lines” with my makeup looks. I really like the artistic feeling!

For my third day of Distortion I chose to work with colored eyeliner to create an artistic flower look.
I saw this picture on pinterest, and just new I had to create just slightly the same feeling. Luckely for me NYX have all the eyeliner colours a girl can ask for, and mixed up with NYX amazingly pigmented white liner I was able to create all the shades I could dream off. I went for a asymetric look in blue/purple tones, but as I got started I could easily have gotten carried away and ended in a rainbow bouquet. Maybe next time?
I felt super cool in a classic jeans’n’sweater outfit matching up with my eye-cathing makeup, and it was perfect to shoot the pictures when the sun set at Refshaleøen before the Distortion party went all through the roof.

Foy my first distortion look I choose to go all in on a sci-fi/disco theme with purple brows, naked eyes and a silver outfit!
It matched the beautiful sunset perfectly, and I got a lot of compliments on my daring yet minimalistic look. I wouldn’t wear this look everyday at work, but now that I got the tools I can’t see why I shouldn’t rock this look again soon.
Or what do you think?

I’ve been incredibly busy, but had just half day off to enjoy distortion with Jones.
We walked aroud Vesterbro talking and shooting street style, it was so nice to get a little break from the everyday stress.
I had an appointment at 5, to get my nails done. Actually my first time ever, so I was quite excited to try out the Essie Gel. I choose the color Blizzard. You will se the result on the blog soon or on my instagram @couturekulten :)
